Decentralized Intrusion Detection and Prevention System

Centralized intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS) and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems often fail to instantly analyze and respond to cybersecurity threats in distributed, heavily loaded environments because of computational, storage, and licensing limitations. In this project, we built a novel distributed hierarchical system for early intrusion detection and subsequent assessment of cyber and information security risks based on anomalous behavior analysis without using predefined patterns. The entire project was developed from scratch, including both research and development.
